BRIDESMAIDS

Maid of Honor

Robin Szypulski

Robin is the only sister of Laura and by far the best.  Even though Robin pestered Laura continuously as children, Laura has chosen Robin to be her Maid of Honor out of the graciousness of her heart.  Robin also burst into happy tears when Laura told her of the engagements, which Laura thinks is super cute!

Bridesmaid

Jennifer "Henifa" Didio

Jennifer and Laura first met at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute when Danika Patrick asked both of them to be her roommates.  Jen and Laura ended up being roommates for most of college.  The endeering nickname "Henifa" goes along with Laura's nickname "Laoora" which came about from their spring break trip to Cancun.  That's how their names were spoken by the locals... it stuck!

Bridesmaid

Concetta Maratta

Concetta and Laura met through Laura's father.  Connie first worked for him when she started at ESPN.  When Laura went to work there, they were instant friends.  Laura's father always thought they would be friends even before they met!

Bridesmaid

Amanda Setser

Amanda and Laura met in Maryland, shortly after Laura moved there.  Amanda's long time boyfriend (and perhaps someday husband?), Mike Blue, works at Northrop Grumman and also was the landlord for the apartment Taylor first lived in when he came to Maryland.  It was inevitable that somehow Amanda and Laura would meet and when they did, they clicked right away!

Bridesmaid

Chelsea Vandenburgh

Chelsea is Laura and Robin's cousin.  Chelsea and her mother, Aunt Anne have always been close with Laura.  Every visit promises to be full of fun conversation and lots of laughs.  Cheslea is also one of the 4 Szypulski cousins born in the same year (along with Robin)!

GROOMSMEN

Best Man

Kellen DeMarco

Kellen an Taylor met in Shorts Hall freshman year at James Madison University in 2002.  Between hours of Counterstrike and pick-up football, they became fast friends.  Kellen was there to hand Taylor his first alcoholic drink (at age 21) while in college.  They were roommates in school both junior and senior year and have remained in good contact following college.  Not only are they eachother's best men, but their own weddings are only 2 weeks apart!

Groomsman

James Brandt

Taylor and James met in Grafton Middle School in Yorktown, VA way back in 1998.  They both did track and cross country while in high school and worked for Busch Gardens.  After 12 years, they are still good friends and are also both getting married in 2011.

Groomsman

Bobby Gifford

Taylor's oldest and and most likely tallest friend also grew up in Yorktown, VA.  Taylor and Bobby met while on the swim team for Windy Point back when they were 5.  While learning how not to drown, they became friends.  Even after going to different middle schools, they reconnected again at Grafton High School where they both ran cross country and did marching band.  After hundreds of games of Hearts and 21 years, they are still good friends.

Groomsman

Michael Lee

One of Taylor's only and certainly favorite male cousins, they grew up around the same area and although Taylor is slightly younger they became frriends.  Both Taylor and Michael's mothers were very close friends as well.  Not only is Michael in the wedding, but he is a fellow Annapolis resident.

Groomsman

Kyle Woodward

To listen to Kyle and Taylor, you would not think that they're friends.  In fact, I am not sure they think they're friends.  Also meeting at Shorts Hall freshman year at James Madison University, Kyle and Taylor were roommates sophomore year along Greek Row.  Bitter rivals on the football field, they found a common bond in the greatness of Buffalo Wild Wings.
